Wild Garlic

The lanes are rife with wild garlic at the moment and it is just beginning to come into flower. I picked these last week as buds and they are just starting to open - I'm looking forward to adding it to my salads this week.

Today has been fairly non eventful - lots of post weekend washing and cleaning. I did drag myself to the Sports Centre for a swim which was actually really enjoyable. I had a whole lane to myself so blatted out a few lengths - I'm trying to find different ways to up my fitness as part of my running training. I have officially got a place at next years London Marathon!!!

Well - the sun is shining, and is apparently set to do so for a few more days, so I am going to do my best to get out in it.
