Plums

Another busy day. Rob helped me put up some bean poles for a late crop of French beans. I have never tried to grow a second crop so it will be interesting to see how they do. Depending on the weather!
I planted out the purple sprouting broccoli into their final position, again this is much later than normal so fingers crossed.
Gill came to help me extract the final batch of honey. This was disappointing as one hive had lost its queen and most of its honey. Oh well.
Then I made piccalilli all from home grown veg, very pleasing. And some plum jam using the fruits from a wild plum that we have had many years, which has finally decided to fruit!
Phew!!
