Birthday Beer

Yesterday was Tom's birthday.  He came over with Rachel this morning and we had a nice chat and cup of tea before we all drove out to The Hadley Bowling Green Inn where we were meeting Emma, Andy and Raffy for lunch.  The pub and its garden was geared up for a village fete and was quite busy but we found an outside table and had a good afternoon.   There was a kids play area and Ann and I took Raffy on the slide and the rocking horse. He loved it.

So here is a photo of my youngest, birthday boy Tom, and my oldest, Pete.  

Later, after everyone had gone home, Ann and I went out for a coffee at The Cosy Club on Cathedral Square then had a walk back by the river.
