A bit more macro

This is Sea Pink or Thrift as it is sometimes known.
I believe it's Latin title is Armeria Naritima.
Anyway this one sits in what we call an Alpine Border, ( that sounds a bit posh but it's not) and it's about 15 cm in diameter.
Any time now the sea cliffs in Pembrokeshire and other areas will be carpeted with these fabulous tiny flowers.
