French village

Spent last night in this village.
Looks nice, was nice.
Took photo from the top of a hill that became a cliff edge of the English Channel. I got up early and climbed the hill to get a close look at the obelisk on the top, commemorating Napoleon and his Grande Armie looking over the Channel at England. When I got to the top I found it was nothing to do with any of this, it commemorated French sailors in the First World War
