Home grown

I realise this is a bit boring. In my defence however, i was weaving in and out of our fruit laden mini-orchard (7 small trees) all of which i had forgotten the variety.
Now we no longer have bees i can get up close and personnel to all for closer inspection.
One of the beneficial aspects of being wheel chair bound and having dwarf rootstock fruit trees. is their size. Fully fruit laden and bowing under the shear weight of fruit, i am able to photograph at wheelchair sitting height.
The one above is Laxton epicure an old English variety.
I photographed in full sun, therefore de-saturating the highlights.
I was kept busy for several hours
