Thwarted

Up and out by 4-30am for an hour's drive to Oswestry for their balloon festival. I should have turned round when I put the windscreen wipers on just south of Wrexham. As expected, from Wrexham onwards, it was cancelled. A cunning change of wind direction at 2am had bought rain clouds. Never mind, I'll have q quick gander at  the Hill Fort and go home via Ellesmere, which is always worth a blip or two. Five miles down the road to Ellesmere, the road was closed for repairs. Lucky I'd taken a picture of some sweet corn on my way back down the lane from the hill fort. Landscapes have never been my thing! I might try again tomorrow. or I might not! Two 4-30s might be one too many.
