Flowers and Sun

Seriously beautiful weekend! Weather was perfect - in the low 70s and plenty of sunshine. We headed down to my parents' house for the weekend. We made a huge pot of leek and potato soup, which was a hit :) and a little pasta. Had some cheesecake for dessert. Yummy! I was showered with lovely gifts from my family for my birthday, including one of the coolest things ever made for me - I will share on my Monday blip :)

Pictured are Corra and Loki posing in the flowers in my Mum's backyard. Seriously, I have never seen them so thick and tall, these are normally just ground cover. They've been here longer than I have been alive :)
