Life is passing me by

Too fast! For my 200th blip I sped across the province on a Greyhound bus to Calgary to help move my baby back home from U of C. I had lots of time to reflect on things and found myself thinking blip is a bit of a catch 22. It has been amazing in that I have taken more pictures in the last year than I thought I ever would, I see photos that I would never have seen before and I've seen the most incredible images in all the wonderful journals that are truly inspiring. But...by now I had hoped to have become technically better and got off the auto button but it hasn't happened! In the quest to take daily blips I haven't been taking the time to experiment with settings. However, despite the time I spend browsing and neglecting paperwork, housework, homework, gardening work, etc., etc., it is a wonderful thing!

These mountains are the Three Sisters in the Rockies by Canmore, one of my favourite places. Couldn't help thinking I might see fellow blipper Dave Stevens sprinting along the trail out there as he trains for the marathon and thought what a lucky guy he is to be living in this area. It's so beautiful. U-Haul gave me a truck that was way too big but it was sure fun to be the trucking chick hanging out with all the big rigs on the Trans Canada highway!
