Ramsgate Harbour

Delighted to find Ramsgate Harbour was a hive of activity with Border Force(extra) , pilots, fishing vessels, historic ships, yachts , barges, survey vessels, wind vane support dredgers and more . I guess without the ferry traffic that dominates Dover, Ramsgate can offer the many maritime businesses that work in the Channel a home. It was a very vibrant and interesting town. There was so much going on its difficult to do it justice.
We moved to Maidstone in the afternoon to pick up R and M who'd travelled by train from Gatwick Airport ready for their cousins wedding tomorrow.
