Doing Science

It's our last day with Euan and his Mummy and Daddy for a few weeks so we collected him from Nursery today, allowed him some Bluey time and then it was out in to the garden with his new Whale bubble machine.  We also did some Science.  Here he is learning about measuring water in different sized containers but before this he sprinkled bicarb on a tray, added yellow food colouring (Euan likes lellow) to some vinegar and then dropped it on to the bicarb to watch it fizzle and foam, quite absorbing for him.  Interesting also to see later that the foam had turned bright orange!  Then we had some Granny chasing games around the garden which needed quieting down with a mini Magnum before bath time.  There is a lot of negotiation at the moment with regular use of his timer, not always successful!
