Catch up in person

It rained either during the night or early morning.  There were still a few small puddles on the road.  It felt fresher too.
Headed to the market for the usual Friday shop.  Then moved to the Botanical Gardens.  A friend who used to live in Cambridge but moved to Greece with her brother - my former hairdresser - and his husband was coming to the city for a week to have a team meeting with her employer.  We'd agreed to meet in the Botanical Gardens as a convenient location for lunch and chat. .
It was good to catch up with her life in Greece, working remotely, her little Westie, Dot and the boys - her brother and his husband.  
All three used to live round the corner from me with Herb their Norwich terrier and we used to dogwalk together.  

Spent at least four hours together.  A really good catch up.
