Lyne Station

I had a lovely walk from Manor Bridge to Lyne Station and back with my neighbours Shirley and Ruth and their dogs this morning.  Many years ago there used to be a railway station at Lyne Station.  Most of the houses there appear to be connected with the railway and a friend of mine who used to live there had the remains of the railway line in her garden.  Anyone who used the station must have had a long journey to their final destination because the neighbouring villages and farms are several miles away
