Homeward Travel!

My travelling kit at the train station ready to make tracks back to Yorkshire.

Despite a train announcement from the conductor on the East Midlands Railway train saying "I'm sorry for the completely crap journey so far", we made it back without getting stranded or stuck anywhere.

Just an extra train to overtake a broken down train at Norwich. It did make me chuckle to hear the announcement though!! I thought it made him seem human and understanding...although doubt that helped all those who missed connections and so on.

What a fun five days!
