Cannon Beach Blue - Oregon Trip:4

The iconic Haystack Rock of Cannon Beach, Oregon. Taken on a March evening after a day of clouds and showers.

Earlier children and adults had been exploring the tide pools at the base of the rock but they all headed for home as the sun went down quietly over the horizon behind a shield of clouds leaving a peaceful scene of the Haystack reflected in the water of the slowly incoming tide in the gentle rain.

A calm scene drenched in the blue of the sun over horizon still lighting the clouds as the last of the day faded to night.
