Vikings in training

I took the train to Roskilde this morning. Roskilde was the capital of Denmark from the 11th to the 15th century and the ornate tombs of all Denmark’s monarchs are in the cathedral there. The present queen’s is also there until it’s needed , but covered up so it looks like a seating area
I also visited the Viking ship museum. It was really interesting with a great variety of Viking boats on the water and in the exhibition. Lots of workshops going on for children too teaching various skills.
