Woodland Wonders

Some lovely leaf shadows on the trees in the wood this morning, and I noticed more ferns that are changing colour.
A lovely bright sunny, blue sky day here, accompanied by our usual breeze.
Geordie is eating today; chicken breast and rice, and seems to be enjoying it. He enjoyed his walk in the woods, although was tired by the end of it, even though we hadn’t been far. Still, it’s early days. I’m shattered too, I admit.
I thought I might have a quiet day, but got a visit from a friend who is quite unwell at the moment, and wanted to discuss her options for health and lifestyle changes. We seem to have a plan for moving forward but she may not recollect exactly what we discussed and planned. It’s tough for my friend because she no longer has any family to turn to for help.
It makes me grateful for my sons and grandchildren, and Suzy and the girls, who are like family to me. I’m so so fortunate.
