Blue Lupins

The blue Lupin is a serious and widespread weed here. It takes over large areas when left unchecked.   While we were waiting to go into the vet this morning because there were a lot of dogs being dropped off for grooming when we first got there so we took a short stroll down the road a ways.   This vacant block was filled with blue lupin and I took advantage for FF just in case I didnt get to see any other flowers today! 

Toto came through his ordeal really well. He had 4 teeth out and has been a bit stunned since I picked him up at 6pm.  He is on some pain meds and anti biotics and just soft foods for a week.  After wandering around the house checking everything a few times he curled up on his bed and fell into a deep sleep ; ). Hopefully he wont have any trouble healing and recovering. We have to try and clean his teeth from now on with a doggy toothbrush, given that he isn't fond of anyone looking in his mouth I cant imagine how well he will take to that procedure ; )
