Hazy

The sky was definitely ‘hazy’ this morning, when we were at the Club Nautico in Altea.
We have found out that the haze was caused by smoke in the atmosphere, from a large wild fire in the mountainous area around Pego.
The fire was caused by lightning…..and much of  the interior of the Province is ‘super dry’ as a result of the continuing heat wave.
Residents of 3 villages have been evacuated, the fire planes and helicopters are dropping water over the fire.
