River mussel

Who knew there were river mussels down at the pond? I guess I noticed because the water levels have receded due to the hot weather and lack of rain.

Later on, went with my eldest daughter for a coffee & a nosey around BloomHead, a beautiful florist shop in Blackhall Mill.

Later still, went for an Indian meal with two special friends. An early birthday celebration.

Not getting much preparation done for the holidays and time is running out...but had a lovely day.
