Almost Set Up

We were up early to get to our camp site by 4:00 pm, check in time. Not sure how we could remember everything without our check lists. And still, our campfire prep crate did not make it to the truck. Luckily, hubby always has a back up plan. We pulled out of the neighborhood at 12:20. Our only stop was at a market to get lunch and tonight’s dinner. They make the best fried chicken, a treat for us. Traffic was almost non-existent. I almost blipped the empty country roads we traveled, made the start of our vacation so relaxing. We pulled in to our favorite site 13 at 4:00. Incredible. It’s 7:30, we still have to eat dinner and put our perishables in the refrigerator that is slowly cooling off. The freezer was ready a few hours ago. Sure hope you have plans for some down time this season. Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe.
