Boscabel House

Another day and another place to visit for M's charity challenge today's visit was to Boscabel House this is where King Charles ll took refuge and hid in an oak tree. We have visited a few times before but not for a while but this time they have made a few changes they have made it a little more interactive you are given a candle in its holder and then you visit each room placing the candle on a pile of books. There are then either sounds such as the door being knocked or images projected on to the wall. We spent a lovely couple of hours there and of course we had to finish off with cake.
