Our Boy’s Year of Recovery

… is over, we think. Preston fell from the roof and broke a front leg and a back hip, exactly a year ago today. He was lucky not to have internal injuries. 2 x 2 months in a cage with a metal humerus and then a hip replacement, 8 months inside the house, and now he’s outside again, walking 3-4 km a day (GPS tells us where he is and how far he has travelled). Unfortunately he has a slightly turned out foot now and has had to have treatment for his knee recently. We don’t know why it was swollen yet but today the vet-osteopath gave him the thumbs up, he seems much better. He is such a funny cat, with a very strong, independent, personality. We just love him to bits.
