Minimalist

Saw this ( the lid and plunger on the cafetière) as we ate breakfast: poached eggs on sourdough.
We drove over to Keswick and avoided the rain, even ate our lunch outside.
Drove home by our favourite lake ( Ullawater)see extra,  well our favourite lake today, still stunning in the rain.
Got back to Ambleside where there had been the expected deluge, really wet everywhere.

Final walk into town to get the walking boots l have had my eye on all week. Also got my feet measured on one of those machines that give a thermal image. Immediately l could see how l put more pressure on one foot than the other, due to the nerve injury down one leg and foot which l will never fully recover from. 
Will be doing my packing tonight as we set off home tomorrow.
