new living room ornament

does anyone else have a motor bike in their living room?

For years John has yearned for a really old motor bike - needless to say they rarely come up for sale at a sensible price. We are bursting at the seams but when he got the chance to buy this 1905 Peugeot, an almost but not quite complete restoration project , he just couldn't resist. He bought it on the basis of a few photos and it is much bigger and much better than he expected. He has been grinning like a cheshire cat since it arrived a few days ago.

He was going to squeeze it into the garage somehow, but we don't acutally use our living room that much, and it has a huge bay window are that is only used when the cats wish to sit in the sun - Daisy is doing just that - so I suggested it could stay there, until such times as he wants to work on it. I reckon it is about project number 25, though I have a feeling it will jump up the queue!!

Doorbell rang just as I am writing this - and the new camera has arrived!!! supposed to be doing housework, washing, shopping etc today, but I have a feeling that playing with my new toy will somehow take over. whoo hoo!!
