Room With A Better View

After a week and two operations to clean and replace part of the new hip, I am now able to get out of bed and sit in what has to be one of the most uncomfortable chairs created by humankind.

But at least the view is better. I may be here another week while they pump me full of antibiotics, but keeping fingers crossed, it looks as though I might have turned a corner.

We shall just have to wait and see.
