The Flowering Tree

I have nothing technical to tell you about this tree!

We planted it as a tiny baby tree about 15 years ago in our front garden and it has grown and grown over the years to now being a full sized tree in which the Magpies and Honeyeaters love to spend time perched on the branches, twittering away in the sun.

What I really like about this tree is the pink flowers that appear on it each autumn. They don't last for very long and the pink foliage against the blue, picture-perfect autumn sky is brilliant, so much so that it deserves a day in my blip journal.

We really are having an amazing run with our weather right now, being spoilt actually, as every day for about a week now has been a brilliant weather day.
