There was a hint of mist in the air yesterday morning although it was dry and sunny. The rains arrived in the evening, we had no flooding but it was quite bad in some areas of London. The earth is so hard that the rain is not soaking in, just running off the top.
A level exam results come out today, the first time students have had to sit exams since before the pandemic.
National train strike today, almost no trains running at all, this will spill over into Friday and Saturday morning. This country is not a happy one at present.
