Welcome rain

I deliberately took this photo last night to post and then was so tired I forgot. Sophy came round for lunchtime and we enjoyed catching up after such a long time. Helped out in the evening with the children as my daughter had a final softball match of the season. They won the league so very happy for her. Took the baby out into the garden and this is where I saw these beautiful leaves on the flame bush. He loved reaching to grab them and showering himself in the water droplets. It kept him amused for a very long time. It’s such a wonder watching little ones discover new things. Every time I feel so blessed to have that special time with them.
Then I walked the dog on the beach but I post a lot of those photos. after the tremendous heat it’s pretty deserted down there now it is raining and windy.
