Migration

Today we went to Homer, which is the town that is at the southern end of the Kenai Peninsula about 80 miles from where we live. We saw hundreds of these geese that are taking a lunch break from their migratory flight.

I'm not a bird expert, but judging from my "Birds of Alaska" book, I think these are Lesser Canadian Geese.
