Tuk Tuk Sighting

A regular sight in Bangkok, especially in the tourist and market areas. I generally only take a tuk-tuk when someone from out of town is visiting and wants the experience. I fell into that category once and still find the occasional ride fun. But now they aren't one of my regular modes of transportation.

Today as I got off the canal boat taxi three or four tuk-tuk drivers insistingly and hectically questioned,
"Where you go?"
"I take you there."
"Grand Palace?"
"Temple tour?"

When I replied in Thai that I was waiting for a friend, they backed off.
