Goose trot
As I approached the end of the Tarka trail I could hear a cacophony from the river. Approximately 70 Canada geese were occupying a sand bank but they seemed unsure whether to go into the water and through the arch of the long bridge. Most of them turned back but three from half way along the gaggle marched steadily on and into the river, on seeing this all of the others turned around and did a fast goose step and followed the three leaders under the arch.
