Thistles

A friend who is staying with us went out for a morning walk and brought back some thistles and asked us to identify them - which we did ! So I decided to go on one of my regular walks and collected several more specimens of different thistles which are prolific on the cornfield boundaries - we then identified the different varieties! It is surprising how many different varieties of thistle there are!!
