Up early to make pancakes for me and my youngest on her first day back at school. Coffee, reading, crossword, Wordle, Worldle, etc once she'd left the house.....before I saddled up and headed out on the bike for 50 or so reasonably sun-splashed miles.

The returning schoolgirl got to chose tea tonight and she decided on a trip down to Fishmarket at Newhaven Harbour for some very fine indeed battered haddock.

Just back, work tomorrow after having had the last five days off, an easy and early night beckons.
