Wednesday: Runner Beans & Roses
It was raining at 5am this morning but by the time I woke up, around 7am rain had stopped.
Late morning I decided on a 10 minute gardening job which was to prune a bit more of the red & black currants and the roses near the greenhouse. As soon as I’d started there was a certain “bird” chirping at me, see yesterday’s Blip … he stayed on the fence until I’d finished :-)
I’ve also started watering the indoor & outdoor tomatoes everyday - fruit developing well, at last - everything grown from Seed Swap seeds.
Today’s Runner Beans have also needed water, they are beginning to set fruit and I may have beans to eat before too long!
The Roses are “Queen Elizabeth” and like everything else in my garden, they have a story - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2599006207347787255
MrD on deliveries all day.
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
