Down to the Ness

John came over at lunchtime and we organised the hotel and flights to Harris and Lewis. We only get same day connecting flights from Exeter to Stornoway twice a week so we'd picked the times that would suit. The hotel was full in the early part of the week but we're able to be flexible so we moved to the end of that week when the next available flights were. That's sorted now. Just need to hear back from the car hire firm now. We're also having some time on mainland Scotland so we have to book hotel/s and car hire there too. I'm gaining a respect for travel agents!

It's Wide on Wednesday (hosted by BobsBlips) and the theme for this week is  'A Local Beauty Spot'. Where I live is one great big beauty spot but it rained this afternoon until 5.30 so I popped down the road for this view down to the harbour and the mouth of the river at Teignmouth with The Ness complete with some birds flying. Bootiful!
