Back to summer

It was cloudy and damp this morning but by lunchtime the sun was out and the lovely summer heat was back! Especially  nice as I was so cold in Edinburgh yesterday.
The most popular plant in the garden today was Japanese Anemone. Despite being past it’s best, it was in great demand from all sorts of bees and hover flies. 
This little bee has been working hard, it’s pollen baskets are bulging!
