A walk on the sands.

A lovely fresh morning for a walk on the beach.

Rain has fallen on Arnside Knott. But it is a hill which has no streams. It is composed of Limestone and the water sinks into the many cavities in the rock.
It eventually percolates down to sea level and comes out onto the beach. You can see some of it in the lower central part of this photograph.
