Get your ducks lined up

I continued my work on the slides for a conference paper to be delivered on 2nd September. They're almost done now and I think that they look great - hurrah! I just hope that I draw an audience for my presentation on the day, not least because I am one of the last speakers on a packed three-day programme.

This evening Mr hazelh and I walked to Porty for supper and games with Atlanta at Paddy and Caitlin's (and Hendrix the cat's) flat. I won the first game, the goal of which was to survive an air balloon journey. The second game - Catan - ended in the usual way, with a win for Paddy.

En route to Paddy and Caitlin's, I blipped the ducks lined up in Figgate Park.

Exercise today: walking (12,980 steps).
