Micro carrot

The first carrot of the 2022 season. Can't decide whether to eat it or frame it. Not had a lot of success with carrots or beetroot this year.
Elsewhere on the plot crops are bountiful. Courgettes, runner beans, gherkins, albeit slightly overgrown, & tomatoes, the first harvested this morning in the mizzle which later turned into proper wet stuff. Hurrah!
At home I tackled the ironing pile then made chutney.. One batch of courgette, orange & ginger, the other, an amalgamation which I hope has worked, & will be labelled Plot pickle.
