Colorful

This is part of the August doorway display at Apt. 201. There are photos, paintings and a large vase of dried lavender, but I thought this little bird pot of lavender fronds was really special.

Doug took me to get my kidney labs done today, but since the whole family are leaving on Thursday for a week at Lake Chelan I'll be on my own when I go to get my shot on that day. I looked into getting a ride through Uber, but if I make a reservation it will cost $65 each way.  Even a ride booked at the time I want to go will cost $35 plus tips. It's not worth that kind of money. I'll just have to hope that I can get a parking spot on the more level part of the lot rather than the steep incline.
