rainy afternoon project

My lovely crabapple tree is so full of fruit that the branches are hanging down like a weeping willow tree. And now the ground underneath is piling up with little apples. So this afternoon as the clouds were gathering for another soaking rain I decided to pick a potful of apples and make apple butter. Mission complete.
