Go Ape

Another birthday comes around, 62 this year.  They seem to come around so much quicker than when younger.  Anyway, how do you celebrate a birthday?  You book on to the full monty on the Go Ape course in Cannock Chase.

Any thoughts of bailing out as you looked up at the obstacles was soon put to one side.  We had a great induction by India and we were soon heading across from tree to tree, down zip wires, swinging Tarzan like on to netting before doing it all again.  We all survived as can be seen from this photo at the end of the course.  

Then it was back to shower and then out for steak night at the local pub.  all in all a great day, though I wonder how much I will be aching in the morning.
