Evening stroll at Dean Clough .
Lunch out with my daughter and granddaughter was todays highlight. Freya slept or nursed for most of it and Jess and I managed a “grown up “ conversation. It was great to chat .
We are just back from an evening walk after visiting Ruby the Motorhome and getting her ready for our next trip . The shot was taken because of the Michaelmas daisies that are growing alongside the reservoir edge , Am unexpected place to find them , especially as I’ve been looking out for some to purchase fir my garden .
Now to watch a TV documentary, India’s partition ,the forgotten story . There was also an excellent hour long programme on Woman’s hour earlier in the week with a focus on the impact partition had on woman’s lives. One of my son in laws grandparents came from North East India , little is known about him but he would have been a teen or young adult at the time and it’s set me wondering how much his life was influenced by this tearing apart of families and communities.
