Literary walk

My intention today was to make a start on the Shuggie Bain walking trail. I got no further than finding the book and discovering that the fictional Pithead is almost certainly based on Cardowan which is now part of the Seven Lochs Wetland Park Trail, not sure how we get to Albert Drive, probably by bus.
The highlight of the day was running this evening with RunTalkRun, a great concept originally devised in lockdown by an NHS practitioner, these groups are starting up all over Scotland and provide a safe space for people to talk and run. The level was ideal for me and provided more of a challenge than I had anticipated. I had forgotten how lovely it is to run in the rain.
