Walks with Oscar

After a very drizzly morning first thing, the sun came out when Oscar walked Ada to pre school. They were really good together. Ada took charge and even told him to sit and gave him a treat for being a good boy. 
Kate came over it's been a few years since she saw Chris. We went to Crosby beach, the first time Oscar had been on a beach. Chris couldn't let him off the lead as he would have just run off after the other dogs. He did go and inspect one of the metal men.
Chris just wanted chips so I found a chip shop and then drove back to the coast to eat them, they were delicious. We came home via Southport and Parbold Hill where I stopped again for an ice cream.
We sat in the garden chatting the rest of the afternoon. Kate went home after tea. Oscar stayed awake all day he's flaked out now on the settee.
