Getting Ready

Mid- August so time to start planning for our UK Fungus Day event in October: venue to be confirmed, activities to be organised, resources to be ordered, publicity to be sorted, grant to be bid for, troops to be rallied. I don’t have any control over the rain, but we could certainly do with some before the big day. It’s finally started here but no heavy stuff as yet.
Still plenty of bees in the garden. Still not managed to get to grips with bee ID but I think this is a White-tailed Bumble Bee.
