Sligo Backblip...!!

This time the beautiful Lissadell House and Estate...just outside Sligo town...
We didn’t go inside this time but set out to walk the rather lovely estate but it soared to a blistering 29/30 degrees and we didn’t get to walk too far either but we did sit and enjoy the view.. the rusted gate entrance is the old IceHouse..
This is the childhood home of Constance Gore-Booth who became the Countess Markieviez one of the most famous Irish Women...and where WB Yeats spent a lot of Summers too...!
