A wee surprise!

Walking out to the car this morning I noticed that one of my Pulsatilla plants had a rather belated flower with a couple more buds just waiting to open.

I’ve used one of the buds as my main photo just because of the raindrops that just cling to the feathery stems and flower casings.

After a very wet morning it remained dry all afternoon but the garden just looks so much better after the recent rain …… grass is green, earth is dark brown and petals and leaves look more vibrant.
