Skype-ing....

Jess has been on 'lockdown' this weekend....a week on report at school means grounded for the weekend at home.

She is not allowed out....and her beau is not allowed in....

Now, when I was a teenager, this was a pretty powerful punishment....these days however....there is Skype....

I think Jess actually spent more time with her boyfriend than she would have done if she'd been allowed out....!

....Video chat....how very 21st century....

Though it wasn't all plain sailing, between me working across the table from her and Meg n Rube hassling her at the laptop on and off interrupting her conversation....you couldn't really call it quality time ;)

Add in Football training followed by a kickboxing tournament and the weekend didn't leave much time for anything else....
